**2nd Shift Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to ensure the quality of components and assemblies through various inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace inspection and a strong understanding of AS9102 standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform Receiving, In-Process, and Final inspections adhering to quality processes and procedures. + Complete required documentation accurately and timely. + Conduct AS9102 first article inspections and other extensive inspections per specifications. + Document all inspections in accordance with established procedures and processes. + Develop and review inspection plans to ensure compliance with quality standards. + Ensure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptance. + Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports, and prints/drawings. + Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment. + Perform visual inspections and conduct hardness and electrical conductivity testing. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of aerospace inspection experience. + Proficiency with AS9102 inspection standards. + Experience inspecting tubular and cylindrical components. + Ability to use manual and digital calipers and micrometers. + Capability to measure tolerances to the tenths with no error. + Strong understanding of GD&T, including symbol recognition. + Good computer skills and ability to document work in an ERP system independently once trained. **Work Environment** You will be working in a large, non-union manufacturing environment. We design and manufacture precision metallic tubular parts and assemblies for the commercial aircraft, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $32.00/hr.
