POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for quickly and accurately picking, packing and loading BJU Press orders for shipment.

HOURS REQUIRED: This could be part-time or full-time. May include evening hours and/or Saturday shifts. The exact schedule to be determined by the Distribution Center Manager. Shifts are usually 4 hours each. Overtime is possible.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promptly opens, picks, and completes all orders in their queue/assigned area
• Packs items into boxes according to box plan and packing procedures
• Prepares boxes for shipping with packing materials and appropriate paperwork
• Organizes, counts, and wraps pallet shipments for pickup
• Informs Line Coordinator of any packing issues or item/location problems
• Keeps assigned area stocked, neat, clean, and safe
• Assists Line Coordinator and Shipping Supervisor with other tasks as directed

Must be at least 18 years old (OSHA requirement)
