Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper
Pay: $70k+ based on experience 
Location:  Remote, Cleveland, OH area

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic planning, and maintaining strong relationships with our outside accountants and advisors.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions in QuickBooks Online , including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to support business decisions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for both entities.
• Partner with outside accountants, tax professionals, and financial advisors.
• Support law firm operations by learning and using the LeanLaw timekeeping and billing system .
• Utilize Excel for analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Participate in routine meetings with the CEO and members of both companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a virtual or hybrid environment.
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes, including LeanLaw.
