Position Begin Date: Position End Date: Position Summary: Central Michigan University is accepting applications for two assistant womens soccer coach positions. The assistant coaches will assist with all aspects of a NCAA Division I Womens program, including aiding with recruiting, coordinating day-to-day operations, conducting practice sessions, coordinating travel arrangements, handling appropriate compliance paperwork, camp/clinic/tournament implementation, community outreach, and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience that equates to four years.
- Collegiate or high-level club womens soccer coaching experience.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and a record of compliance with such.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree.
- National level soccer coaching license/certification.
- An established applicable recruiting network.
- Experience with clinic/camp implementation.
- Experience coaching goalkeepers.
- Experience planning travel for a team.
- Experience working in Teamworks.
- Experience ordering equipment.
