Qualifications

1 year of specialty coffee experience

Hospitality forward

Ability to push, pull, & lift up to 50lbs

Ability to work independently

Must maintain personal hygiene as well as well groomed appearance

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Proficient in  free pour latte art

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages

Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service

Operate and dial in espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment

Keep the shop clean at all times and at timed intervals

Greet customers as soon as they enter

Prepare beverages following specific recipes

Ability to operate a turbo chef safely and efficiently

Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

Check if equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

Comply with health and safety regulations

Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

Read, understand, and memorize the menu

Completion of checklist tasks in timed intervals throughout the day

Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards (bus tables, maintain trash area, refill utensils, restock, FIFO, set up… etc.)

Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels, organizing BOH shelving, and putting away orders

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
