Job Description

CFO Location Erie, PA :

Chief Financial Officer Is responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the organization's financial health and sustainability. This role oversees all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and compliance requirements. The CFO works closely with the Corporation President (Prioress) and Board of Directors (Monastic Council) to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's mission and goals.

  • Investment Management
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Strategic Planning
  • Human Resources
  • Board Relations and Reporting
  • Tax Filing and Compliance for payroll and individual income
  • Manage the daily operations of the business office with attention to strong internal controls
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance. Degree in a related field with accounting experience will be considered: MBA or CPA strongly preferred

Ten years of progressively responsible experience in financial management, with five years in a nonprofit organization

Successful financial management, experience developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, overseeing financial reporting and compliance

Leadership and management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Passion for the mission and work of the organization

Strong interest in mentoring others and working as a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
