Civil CAD Designer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

What You’ll Do:

• Develop detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering land development projects with minimal assistance.
• Produce demolition plans, site plans, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, road plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and detail sheets.
• Prepare plan and profile views for utilities and roads using Civil 3D pipe networks.
• Create 3D grading models, surfaces, and corridor designs utilizing Civil 3D grading tools.
• Assist in developing and implementing departmental CAD standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot and develop client-focused solutions.
• Provide mentorship to entry-level staff in site civil design principles and best practices.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in site/civil production.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development and utility design.
• Ability to prepare grading plans, estimate cut-fill calculations, and create/modify Civil 3D styles, templates, and resource files.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Bluebeam.
