Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Clinical Services, Junior Specimen Processor working from our Phoenix, AZ office location, with a start date of December 1, 2025.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Junior Specimen Processor,

The Junior Specimen Processor position is entry-level and is responsible for facilitating operations in Clinical Services. This role performs pre- and post-analytical sorting of specimens for distribution to the appropriate areas, assists with record keeping such as filing and scanning, and provides support as needed and defined by those to whom the position reports. The Junior Specimen Processor will spend most of their time opening incoming specimen shipments from various sources (pathology laboratories, hospitals, clinics, etc.) and matching them with the appropriate documents. Additional responsibilities include sorting specimens based on test type and distributing them accordingly, ensuring timely delivery of specimens to designated personnel for processing, and scanning records into the appropriate systems as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or clinical setting preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year of experience in a laboratory or clinical setting preferred.

SCHEDULE

  • Monday-Friday, in office 5 days a week from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, working from the Phoenix, AZ office location.
