Description Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for the construction industry? In this role, you will play an integral part in project and job cost accounting while supporting general accounting functions, including month-end close. Key Responsibilities + Manage project and job cost accounting, including tracking and reconciling costs, budgets, and expenditures. + Collaborate with project managers and teams to provide timely and accurate financial analysis of project performance. + Support general accounting tasks, such as journal entry preparation, reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. + Assist with month-end close activities, including preparation of financial reports and analysis. + Partner with operations teams to monitor contracts and change orders, ensuring accurate cost allocation and project forecasting. + Analyze project KPIs and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in project or job cost accounting, preferably in the construction industry. + Understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting principles preferred. + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred). + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
