Customer Service Specialist
Immediate Opportunity – Temp to Hire
**MUST HAVE: Petrochemical/Oil & Gas experience**
Location: Woodlands – Zip Code 77380
Pay to $28 hourly
Great hybrid schedule after training period!

Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service representative with a focus on the oil & gas industry. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service through accurate order processing, effective communication with clients, and collaboration with internal departments. This fast-paced and collaborative position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a key industry.

Required Skills:

1-2 years of experience in the chemical or oil & gas industry
3 years of customer service experience
Strong knowledge of SAP is preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage open orders efficiently and adhere to established processes
Proficiency in generating quotes and processing customer orders
Capability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key accounts
Familiarity with Incoterms, payment terms, and pricing

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with system requirements and business management guidelines
Previous training in OSHA PPE standards is a bonus

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional certification in customer service or related field is advantageous

Other Requirements:

Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week
Onsite position at Waterway location, transitioning to a hybrid model after 3 months of training
Flexible schedule, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote after transitioning to a hybrid model
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Availability to work on-site on Wednesdays
Capability to process new purchase orders within 24 hours
