**Role Overview** **No need to go far to change the world - one patient at a time.** Come join our team of dietitians, Part-Time at Sodexo, working with oncology patients, both inpatient and outpatient, at PIH Health, Whittier, CA. also known as a Stroke Center, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and Heart and Lung Center. Located in Whittier, CA.PIH Health Whittier is a 523 licensed-bed acute care hospital. Within the hospital, Transitional Care Unit, Acute Rehab, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Oncology, and Respiratory. We have an outpatient Nutrition and Wellness Center where our dietitians provide education as part of an ADA-accredited Diabetes Education program, as well as education on other various nutrition-related diseases. PIH Health Whittier has full full-service Starbucks A restaurant called Tres Habaneros, within our hospital. **What You'll Do** + Provide nutrition care to oncology patients and with a variety of disease states, 20 hours a week + Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays + Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nursing staff + Work with the hospital staff and work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff on the interdisciplinary team **What We Offer** Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
