Accountabilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a world-class Project Management Department.
• Ensure project quality, studio sustainability, and the well-being of team members.
• Create, enforce, and refine macro development schedules in collaboration with Project Directors and Project Managers.
• Anticipate and resolve schedule and budget overruns proactively.
• Oversee project budgets and staffing strategies to meet project needs.
• Foster cross-department collaboration and advocate for organizational values, culture, and craft excellence.
• Monitor project performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Address workplace complaints and ensure a safe, professional environment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in project management within game development or related industries.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of game production methods and ability to analyze multiple simultaneous projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage large groups and individuals effectively.
• Proficiency with project tracking software, MS Office, and other relevant technical tools.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to guide operational decisions.
• Deadline-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
