Bather / Grooming Assistant

Position Type: Full Time (Saturdays required)

Compensation: Starting at $14/hour + tips (once trained and working independently)

About the Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our grooming team as a Bather. This role supports our groomers by keeping pets clean, comfortable, and safe. If you love dogs, don’t mind getting wet or hairy, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Bathe, brush, and blow dry dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Clean ears, trim nails, and brush out coats
• Follow safety and animal-handling guidelines to ensure a positive experience for each pet
• Communicate any health or behavior concerns to the grooming team
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and bathing area

Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments
• Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills
• Must be available on Saturdays
• Previous grooming or bathing experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person
