Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: Bolivar, MO Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Days Pay: $2400/week Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our specialized procedural team. This role is crucial for providing expert care to patients undergoing various endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, and bronchoscopies. The Endoscopy RN is responsible for patient preparation, conscious sedation administration, and monitoring during the procedure, as well as providing post-procedure recovery care. The ideal candidate is adept at managing a fast-paced environment, possesses strong critical-thinking skills, and is committed to ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including pre-procedure education and assessment.
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient vital signs and level of consciousness throughout the procedure.
• Assist the physician during the procedure, anticipating needs and handling equipment.
• Monitor patients in the recovery phase, assessing for any complications and providing post-procedure instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all patient care and procedural events.
• Adhere to all procedural, safety, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Missouri.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Endoscopy, PACU, or critical care nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of conscious sedation and gastrointestinal anatomy.
• COVID vaccine and recent TB test may be required.
