IGT is seeking a Gaming Field Services Technician in the area of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Gaming Field Services Technician will support our casino services team and be part of our award-winning gaming products organization.

Responsibilities

The Gaming Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the basic troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of gaming terminals while in a casino and gaming service environment. The Gaming Services Technician will provide customer service to venue management and patrons as well.

  • Responsible for various install, troubleshooting, and repair of IGT gaming machines. 
  • Support Technical teams to install, remove, convert, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare games, set options and repair games in a field environment.
  • Support various projects including new casino openings and expansions.
  • Successfully delegate to peer staff on various system projects.
  • Knowledge share with internal and external customers on new products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts issued. 
  • Document repair, preventive maintenance, machine prep, standard power analysis and pre-site work.
  • Follow documentation, policies and procedures and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Reading and translating wiring diagrams.
  • Resolve technical problems and perform program upgrades, and download set up.
  • Testing programs with various verification devices.
  • Troubleshoot with input and output tests.
  • Set up game options and test various devices.
  • Test pay table, reel strip and bonus awards.
  • Install, repair and maintain data lines, fiber optics, and telephone lines.
  • Knowledge share with customers on basic game functionality.
  • Maintain a positive image of IGT with co-workers and IGT’s customers.
  • In-depth user-level knowledge of SAP preferred. 

Qualifications

Education Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical or I.T. related training or education is a plus.

Experience Required

  • 4+ years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience. 

Skills Required

  • Must be computer literate and have documented technical experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of tools and experience using the tools is required.
  • Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and travel to client sites as needed. 
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and able to stand a full shift.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Must be able to adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.

Must be willing to travel.
