MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MIG AND ARC WELDING (NO CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED)

Connect Staffing is looking for a hands-on General Laborer/Welder to join a company in Humble, TX.

Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, occasional Saturdays optional

Requirements for General Laborer/Welder:

• Experience with MIG and arc welding (no certifications required)
• Comfortable working in a shop or fabrication environment
• Able to pass a background and drug screen
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, 90 lbs occasionally 
• Reliable and able to take direction
• Prior experience as a shop assistant, welder’s helper, metal fabricator, production laborer, or general laborer is a plus!

Responsibilities of the General Laborer/Welder:

• Perform MIG and arc welding on steel and metal components as needed
• Assist shop staff with general tasks and daily operations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow supervisor instructions and work as part of a team
• Support other shop and production areas when welding work is not required
