Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide high-quality service to our customers. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring all work meets local codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment (water, gas, drainage, and waste systems).
• Diagnose plumbing issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend effective solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with state and local plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other trades when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Train or guide apprentices when needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plumbing trade.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Physical ability to perform plumbing tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:

• Gas piping experience.
• Remodel experience
• Prior experience in both residential and commercial settings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
