Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. Responsible for designing advanced machine learning models and leading data-driven strategies to solve complex business problems.

Rate Range: $68/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead Data Scientist job responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and development of advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable insights.

• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures, ensuring efficient data processing and integration for model development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and business stakeholders, to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.

• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering, leveraging statistical and predictive modeling techniques.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models in production, implementing best practices for MLOps and model lifecycle management.

• Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for data science workflows, coding standards, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

• Minimum 8+ years in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.

• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models at scale in production environments.

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $75.00 per hour
