Local Class A CDL Driver — Home Daily, Most Weekends Off

Union, Missouri • Full-time • $21/hr

Company: Gateway Extrusions

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (overtime as needed)

Route: 100% local. No overnights.

About the Role:

Tired of long hauls and sleeping in a truck? Join Gateway Extrusions and drive a local route that gets you home every night. You’ll handle short runs between our plant and nearby customers, help move materials on-site, and keep things humming for a team that values safety, reliability, and getting it done right.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely transport and stage materials and finished goods on local routes.
• Load/unload trucks; operate forklifts and tractor-trailers with care.
• Use basic computer systems to document moves, print labels, and track inventory.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to hit tight timelines.
• Complete daily DOT inspections and maintain vehicle compliance.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Stay current on required training and safety programs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
• Tractor-trailer experience and strong safety habits.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Comfortable with basic math, reading, and record-keeping.
• Able to maneuver 25-foot racks; lift 50 lbs solo (up to 75 lbs with a team).
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Willing to support occasional off-hours or weekend overtime when needed.
• Flatbed loading/unloading and tarping experience is a plus.
• Must pass DOT physical.
