Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with patients from start to finish, providing essential support to healthcare providers. This role offers hands-on clinical experience and is an excellent opportunity for those pursuing higher education in the medical field. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates with goals to acquire clinical/scribe/patient facing hours prior to applying for medical school or other higher education.

Responsibilities

• Room patients
• Scribe medical information
• Present information to the doctor
• Follow up with patients
  
  

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of biology
• Bachelors degree in a pre med field
• Experience as a scribe is a plus
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Interested in pre-med
• Pursuit of higher education in the medical field
  
  

Work Environment

You will be working in various clinics, including Lakewood (Golden technically), Westminster, and Longmont. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a floating day once a week to a secondary clinic. You will follow the provider you work with. The role includes hands-on clinical experience, clinical hours, and long-term networking opportunities. The MA manager schedules 35-40 hours per week to allow time for school or program commitments. This position offers a great learning environment, supportive group of doctors, and opportunities for career advancement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
