We are expanding our current Mobile Service Team! Are you a hands-on automotive technician who enjoys the freedom of the open road? Join our team as a Mobile Service Technician, where your skills will keep vehicles running smoothly—all while delivering top-tier customer service at the client’s location. As a Mobile Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of vehicles in the field. Whether it’s scheduled maintenance or unexpected breakdowns, you’ll be the face of Huntersville Ford, bringing expertise and reliability directly to our customers.

Mobile Service Technician Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on passenger and light-duty vehicles
  • Conduct oil changes, brake repairs, battery replacements, inspections, and more
  • Use diagnostic tools and onboard technology to assess and resolve issues
  • Keep detailed service records and communicate findings to clients
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on every job site

Qualifications

  • Previous experience at an automotive dealership a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent Ford certified a plus
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
