Part-Time Dishwasher (3 Days/Week – Sundays Required )

Grove City Brewing Company & Plum Run Winery is looking for a reliable, hard-working Part-Time Dishwasher to join our BOH team. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen running smoothly, our guests happy, and our team supported—so if you take pride in staying organized, moving with purpose, and being a behind-the-scenes hero, we want to meet you!

Position Overview

The Part-Time Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, and efficient dish area. This includes washing dishes, assisting with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, and supporting the BOH team during busy shifts. This role is 3 days per week , and Sundays are a mandatory weekly shift .

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week
• One required shift every Sunday
• Additional shifts as needed for events or coverage (optional)

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit area
• Take out trash and recycling as needed
• Assist BOH team with routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping/mopping floors, wiping surfaces, and helping reset for the next shift
• Communicate proactively with cooks, prep staff, and management when dish volume increases or when supplies run low
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures
• Support the kitchen team with a positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Reliable and consistent attendance— must be available every Sunday
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is a plus but not required
• Must be at least 16 years old
