Overview:
Dandy is hiring a Partials Injection Mold Designer to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The ideal candidate will create precise injection mold designs based on partial designs. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, dental knowledge, and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
• Design injection molds using Blender software based on partials designed by our partials team.
• Ensure high accuracy and quality in all injection mold designs.
• Adhere to design specifications and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a dental lab or CAD/CAM environment
Experience managing design projects from start to finish
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in design and manufacturing
Proficiency in dental CAD software (exocad, 3Shape, etc.)
Ability to design dental prosthetics (crowns, bridges, veneers, etc.)
Experience with 3D modeling and understanding of dental anatomy
Strong attention to detail for precision in design

• Excellent time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of dental milling machines and 3D printers
• Degree in dental technology, dental hygiene, dentistry, or related field
• Certification in CAD/CAM software (e.g., exocad, 3Shape)
• Knowledge in Blender software for advanced 3D modeling and design tasks

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
• Patient enough to take the time to troubleshoot
