SignatureCare Home Health's mission is to provide planned, integrated, and compassionate healthcare and improve quality of life. We are located in South Euclid, OH and looking for PCA/HHA's to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. We are seeking skilled staff which will provide a safe, caring environment for our senior clients and clients with disabilities.
Summary :
Personal Care Aides assist with basic direct patient care activities.
Upholds the mission, values, commitment and customer service standards of SignatureCare Home Health.
Responsibilities:
Provides assistance with personal care services and homemaker tasks in the clients place of residence
Assist with daily living activities
Performs housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, and running errands
Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs
Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to RN
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Have at least 1 year experience working as a Personal Care Aide or Home Health Aide or similar and/or earned a HHA/CNA certification
Prefer a High School Graduate or GED
Basic computer data entry skills
Must possess a strong service orientation, including active listening, critical thinking skills, and close monitoring of clients
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, families and staff
Ability to read, write and speak English and to follow oral and written instructions
Must be able to life up to 50 pounds
Must pass background check and any other required checks
Must have a smartphone to utilize the timekeeping system
