Job Description

Note : This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Ocean Springs, MS office. Remote will be considered for the right candidate.

Note : You must have an active Property & Casualty Insurance License and a minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance. If you do not meet this requirement, please do not schedule a call, as it will be canceled.

**Base salary  for this role ranges from $50,000 to $60,000, with on-target earnings (including commissions) of approximately $72,000.**

Job Description

  • Manage a book of personal lines insurance clients (auto, home, renters, umbrella)
  • Provide high-quality service via phone, email, and in-person communication
  • Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and coverage changes
  • Resolve billing, underwriting, and claims-related issues with carriers
  • Advise clients on policy options and coverage enhancements
  • Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems
  • Cross-sell other lines of insurance when appropriate
  • Ensure all actions comply with agency procedures and insurance regulations

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
  • Minimum of 3 years in a personal lines insurance role required
  • Familiarity with auto, home, renters, and umbrella policies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management software (AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
