Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Property General Claims Adjuster in United States.

This role plays a critical part in handling complex, high-severity property claims while delivering fair, timely, and customer-focused outcomes. Operating in a fully remote environment, you will manage claims end to end, combining technical expertise with sound judgment and strong negotiation skills. The position offers meaningful exposure to diverse property losses across multiple states and requires a high level of autonomy and professionalism. You will collaborate closely with internal teams while maintaining clear communication with policyholders and partners. This is an impactful opportunity for an experienced claims professional who thrives in complexity and values quality-driven work. The role supports both operational excellence and a strong service-oriented claims experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex and high-severity property insurance claims from first notice through final settlement.
  • Analyze policy coverage, assess damages, and determine appropriate claim outcomes in compliance with guidelines and regulations.
  • Manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and high service standards.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, contractors, attorneys, and internal stakeholders throughout the claims process.
  • Document claim activity thoroughly and provide clear reporting on claim status, exposure, and resolution.
  • Apply sound judgment and negotiation skills to achieve fair and equitable settlements.
  • Requirements:

  • Proven experience handling complex property insurance claims, including high-severity losses.
  • Strong knowledge of property coverages, claims investigation practices, and settlement strategies.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work during Pacific Standard Time business hours and maintain reliable high-speed internet.
  • Residency in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Utah, with preference for proximity to major airports.
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $104,910 to $130,111, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Fully remote work arrangement within eligible states.
  • Stability and long-term career growth within an established insurance environment.
  • Supportive, people-first culture focused on quality, integrity, and community impact.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and additional employee perks.
