Salary: $32,000 – $35,100

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Certification/License Requirements:

• Peer Support Specialist Certification ( TRADPSS preferred )

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide social and emotional support, advocacy, and consumer information to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

• Partner with participants and treatment team members to support individualized recovery and wellness goals.

• Offer support to individuals and families who have overdosed or are at risk of overdose.

• Link participants with appropriate resources and services.

• Conduct community outreach in areas impacted by behavioral health crises.

• Collaborate with community partners to strengthen support networks and recovery opportunities.

Experience Required:

• Must be a self-identified consumer of mental health services diagnosed with a mental illness or substance use disorder.

• Successful completion of Peer Support Specialist training.

• Understanding of the recovery process and ability to use personal experience to support others.

• Preferred: Experience working in crisis or residential settings.

• Minimum of 3 years sobriety (for applicants in recovery from substance use).
