Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical setting.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Managing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Floating to other units as needed.
- Administering chemotherapy and biotherapy (requires ONS certification).
- Passing a Telemetry test on the first day of employment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant inpatient experience (2 years in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry in a Level 1 Trauma Facility).
- BLS certification.
- ONS chemotherapy biotherapy administration card.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior travel nursing experience.
Special Considerations:
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
- 36 hours per week, 7 am to 7 pm shift.
- Telemetry test administered on the first day; failure results in termination.
- Candidates who have worked permanently or as travelers for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months are not eligible.
