Location: Perth Amboy, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract, Extendable)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12)
Total Weekly Gross: $2,386
Hourly Rate: $66.28/hr
Stipend: $1,414
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with comprehensive patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient assessments and needs.
• Identify priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document all care in accordance with clinical standards and policies.
• Promote and practice evidence-based care standards.
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – NJ or Compact State.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
