Pay Rate: $2,928 per week (Gross)
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, monitoring during procedures, and post-procedure recovery, ensuring safety, quality care, and adherence to established clinical protocols.
Responsibilities:Prepare procedure rooms and necessary equipment for endoscopic procedures.
Assist physicians during endoscopy, maintaining sterile technique.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and sedation levels throughout procedures.
Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and support.
Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience; prior endoscopy or GI lab experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of infection control, patient monitoring, and procedural safety.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York).
Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
