Public Health Registered Nurse - Raleigh, NC Position: Public Health Registered Nurse Location: Wake Forest, NC Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with potential forextension) Hourly Rate: $38-$40/hr (travel ratesavailable) Start Date: 12/1-12/8 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM As part of acollaborative clinic environment, you'll provide compassionate, confidentialservices that support informed decision-making, preventive care, and overallwellness. From contraceptive counseling to routine screenings, your work willdirectly impact the health and autonomy of Wake County residents. ?? Key Responsibilities: + Coordinate and deliver Family Planning services, including contraceptive counseling, STI screenings, and reproductive health education + Interview patients and obtain comprehensive health histories + Provide appropriate education and counseling tailored to individual needs + Administer medications and perform lab testing as allowed and needed + Maintain and update program manuals, policies, procedures, and standing orders + Assist in other clinics as needed (e.g., Maternal Health, Immunizations, Adult Health) + Follow up on abnormal findings and ensure timely referrals + Support public health emergency response efforts when needed + Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers during procedures and patient care ?????
