Job Description

We are seeking a (RN- Interventional Radiology) for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Newburyport, MA, 01950.

• Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
• Shift: Day (8)-8:00 start
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2920 - $3200

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor, document, and interpret hemodynamic data during procedures
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment, including Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, IABP, Impella, and manage patients on ECMO (if applicable)
• Prepare patients pre-procedure and manage post-procedure recovery
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Maintain infection control and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts RN license (active and in good standing).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification- required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification-required.
• Minimum of 3 5 years of nursing experience- required.
• Cardiac catheterization lab experience required.
• Proficiency with:
  • Diagnostic caths
  • Interventional procedures
  • Rotablator
  • IVUS
  • FFR
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
• IABP and Impella experience required.
• ECMO experience preferred.
• Previous foundational ICU or Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred.
