Job Responsibilities:
  • Account & Market Management: Support a team responsible for the daily management of the failure analysis market, including customer interactions, strategic follow-ups, and internal coordination to support seamless business operations.
  • Sales & Business Development Strategy: Support and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability through new product introductions, opportunity identification, competitive displacement, and customized product development. Ensure strong project support and maintain high confidence levels at both the customer and parent company regarding business success.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong executive and working-level relationships across key stakeholders, including customers, Hamamatsu, and our parent company. Facilitate strategic engagement between senior leadership and key decision-makers.
  • Tools & Process Optimization: Maintain advanced tools for account and market management, including configurators, price lists, business projections, RFQ documents, and sales tracking reports. Demonstrate proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems such as AX, CMS, and CRM.
  • Negotiation & Agreement Management: Drive, negotiate, or support the negotiation of legal and partnership agreements, including pricing, purchasing, business, joint development, non-disclosure, and sales agreements. Secure necessary approvals from Hamamatsu and the parent company throughout the process .
Required Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 2 to 5 years work experience or educational equivalent (M.S., MBA, or Ph.D.)
  • Education or experience in lasers, microscope optics, new technique development, and road map coordination
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Proven hands-on technical expertise (e.gs. device failure analysis, working in lab, rebuilding cars, assembling computers, etc.)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in semiconductor failure analysis
  • Experience with Hamamatsu failure analysis tools
  • Presentation experience
  • Collaborative experience contributing toward team goals
Pay Range:
The target base salary for this role at commencement of employment is expected to be between $82,000 - $120,000  annually. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
