SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

 

This position will require the committment of 2 terms (spring and summer), running from January 12th through August 7, 2026.

 

The individual will assist with various aspects of Construction Management during the initiation of the Penn Transformation Project. Will work closely with various team members and develop an understanding of requirements within Penn Station.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Assist in coordinating project activities by scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining communication between various stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections under supervision, helping to monitor progress, assess safety compliance, and ensure quality control. 
  • Gather, organize, and analyze project data to aid decision-making processes. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution.
  • Must be actively pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management and/or Safety.
  • Must have at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies completed or a sophomore status at minimum.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.

 

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The hourly range is $17.50 per hour - $35.00 per hour. Pay is based on factors including school year, program of study, etc. In addition, paid internships include Amtrak rail pass privileges as a part of the experience along with one (1) PTO day per academic year.
