Position Overview:

The role of a Wax Specialist is to represent European Wax Center in a professional and consistent manner, while being a brand ambassador who upholds the company's core values. A Wax Specialist's primary goal, in addition to providing a flawless wax, is to educate guests on their pre- and post-wax skin care, as to maximize their wax experience. In this position, you will work with others who have an excitement and passion for Revealing Beautiful Skin. A Wax Specialist shapes the future of European Wax Center and supports guests in feeling gorgeous, radiant, and confident in their own skin. This position is a tangible way to put your passion, desire, and education to good use and be respected as a beauty professional!

Responsibilities: 

• To provide the highest quality wax service while maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude.
• To educate guests on the care of their pre-wax and post-wax skin.
• To educate guests about EWC exclusive products that could enhance their waxing experience.
• To establish and maintain professional relationships with guests.
• To maintain a thoroughly clean wax suite at all times and cooperate to keep the center as a whole clean and sanitary.
• To work as part of a team and adhere to the EWC cultural of positivity and building others up.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: 

• Hourly pay
• Service sales commission
• Product sales commission
• Monthly bonuses
• Yearly bonuses
• Manager's license test reimbursement

Typical Total Compensation (Base pay + Commission + Gratuity + Bonuses):

• Following training: $25-$35+ per hour
• 4-6 Months after start: $25-$40+ per hour
• Approaching 1 year and beyond: $30-$50+ per hour

While these are examples based upon actual Waxer performance, there is no cap on bonuses, so how much you make is entirely up to you. Overtime is generally available to those who desire.

Requirements:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Minnesota Esthetician or Cosmetology License (AP license not required)
