Child Care Partner – Operations & Growth

Location: Northside / Milwaukee, WI
Type: Equity / Income-Sharing Partnership Job & Internet

Opportunity Overview

Long Standing Daycare Center is seeking a reliable, purpose-driven Daycare Partner to share day-to-day operations and help grow enrollment while working alongside the Owner. This is a partnership-based opportunity , ideal for someone who sees childcare as a calling, desires ownership experience, and plans to open their own childcare center in the future .

This role is for a hands-on leader who brings integrity, strong communication, and a commitment to children, families, and staff.

Owner is looking to step away for future projects and needs someone who is honest, trustworthy, reliable, business minded, professional and liked by children and families.

  • Partner may bring:
  • Their own enrolled children
  • Their own staff (subject to licensing, background checks, and Owner approval)
  • Shared responsibility for daily operations and maintaining quality standards
  • No private payment arrangements with parents — all payments flow through the center

Core Responsibilities

Daily Operations

  • Share responsibility for day-to-day childcare center operations
  • Support classroom coverage, supervision, and ratio management
  • Be present, engaged, and visible in the facility
  • Assist with scheduling, transitions, and daily flow

Enrollment & Families

  • Bring and maintain enrollment roster
  • Communicate effectively with families
  • Support retention of children and positive family relationships
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured environment

Staffing & Leadership

  • Bring and manage staff (with Owner approval)
  • Lead staff with professionalism, consistency, and accountability
  • Model appropriate behavior and workplace standards
  • Maintain accurate staff and child documentation

Compliance & Professionalism

  • Follow all state licensing, DCF, and childcare regulations
  • Maintain required training, Registry level, and certifications
  • Uphold center policies with zero tolerance for:
  • Chronic tardiness or call-ins
  • Unprofessional conduct
  • Unauthorized visitors or children on premises

Work Expectations

  • Hands-on role with both classroom and leadership duties
  • Must be physically able to:
  • Stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Reliable attendance is non-negotiable
