Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a CCNP or CCIE-certified Cisco Voice Engineer to help migrate an existing legacy Cisco phone system to a modern cloud-based solution. Project is still pending award, and to strengthen the bid, we need a strong candidate to be named on the proposal.

If awarded, the project is expected to kick off in June or July.

 
Responsibilities

• Lead and support the migration of a Cisco legacy phone system to a cloud-based UC platform
  
• Provide expert guidance on Cisco Unified Communications solutions, architecture, and best practices
  
• Work remotely with internal teams and university stakeholders
  
• Assess and plan VoIP system requirements, configurations, and performance
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during and after implementation
  

Requirements

• Active CCIE or CCNP in Unified Communications
  
• Solid hands-on experience with Cisco UC solutions (CUCM, Unity, UCCX, etc.)
  
• Experience with universities or large-scale enterprise voice infrastructure migrations or cloud transitions, strongly preferred
  
• Able to estimate scope, timeline, and resources needed for similar UC projects
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based voice platforms (e.g., Webex Calling, Microsoft Teams Voice)
  
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working in a consulting/client-facing role
