Job Description

Seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher in Kaukauna, WI to handle the placement, finishing, protection, and repair of concrete for projects including slabs, sidewalks, driveways, foundations, tilt-up panels, and structural components.
Pay: $35 - $45/hour depending on experience
Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities for Concrete Finisher :

• Review blueprints and specifications for required finish.
• Ensure subgrade, forms, and reinforcement are properly set.
• Check and set elevations with levels or laser tools.
• Direct the placement of concrete from trucks, pumps, or buckets.
• Spread, level, and consolidate concrete to eliminate voids.
• Apply broom finishes, exposed aggregate, stamped, or polished surfaces as specified.
• Edge and joint concrete to prevent cracking.
• Apply curing compounds or wet coverings to maintain moisture.
• Protect finished surfaces from weather, debris, and traffic until fully cured.
• Patch holes, fix scaling, or resurface damaged areas.
• Grind, seal, or coat concrete as required.
• Operate hand trowels, power trowels, screeds, and floats to achieve required surface
• finish.
• Follow PPE requirements (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirators when
• cutting/grinding).
• Work safely around heavy equipment, power tools, and hazardous materials.

Qualifications for Concrete Finisher

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required).
• 1–3 years of concrete finishing experience for journeyman-level work.
• Entry-level possible with on-the-job training.
• OSHA 10 (minimum) or OSHA 30 (preferred).
• ACI Flatwork Finisher Certification is a plus.
• Lift up to 80 lbs., work in varying weather, stand/walk for long periods, and perform  repetitive motions.
