Horse Barn Worker (6635)

Experienced horse barn worker who will be responsible for the feeding, turnout, blanketing of 18 stabled horses as well as barn maintenance activities such as stall cleaning, sweeping and keeping the barn in an orderly manner. You will be working with an assistant who is scheduled 4 hours each day to assist with these activities. The barn owner is on site every day and can assist where needed.

Qualifications:
Are you reliable?

Are you 18 years old or older?

Do you know your way around horses?

Your job would be barn work activities only –no machinery, horse grooming nor repair work. We need a reliable someone who has experience with handling various breeds of horses, stall cleaning and custom feeding. You must know how to muck a stall, be able to lift 50 lb. bags of feed and communicate well with people. Please do not apply if you have physical limitations that prevent you from doing farm work and are not accustomed to 8 hours of physical activity.

Benefits:
