Physical Education Teacher Job Decription

**Be strong in teaching either Sports Science, Physiology and theory of sports

**Plan practical lessons that are both engaging and meaning to students

**Differentiate your lessons to meet the needs of your learners

**Promote teaching and learning of Physical Education by creating excellent wall displays

**Have excellent classroom management skills

**Attend staff meeting

**Attend parent evenings

**Report to the HoD

**Writing reports for students

**Uphold the schools values and ethos

The campuses are located in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah and the growing Emirate of Ras al Khaimah. Campuses are well furnished and very large catering for students aged 3-18. Most of the students are Emirati with about 15% expat students.  The older campuses are accredited by the IBO as well as AdvancED.

PE Teacher Requirements:

**Degree in PE or sport related subject

**Teaching license in Physical Education

**At least 4 years teaching experience in Physical Education

**Western trained

**Native speaker of English

**IB PYP experience is preferred or if you have USA Common Core

**Up to date CPR

**Having a swimming certificate is beneficial

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

4 Years

Type of Staff:

Male or Female can apply to this job

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Prefer candidates with international experience

Additional:

**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 12375 up to 15,675  AED (UAE Dirham)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

500AED per month
