We are looking for a Mechanical Designer / CAD Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on modernizing and enhancing the design of industrial steam and boiler equipment . This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the company’s transition from 2D to 3D design , while working closely with designers, drafters, and engineers across the organization.
In this role, you will create and manage 3D models using SolidWorks and PDM , converting existing 2D drawings while ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and alignment with engineering standards. You’ll apply your knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes to support product quality, consistency, and efficiency. You will also maintain engineering documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) , drawings, and records within PDM and ERP systems .
