Job Description

The Mockup Artist is an experienced packaging prototype craftsman who demonstrates the advanced skills required to both engineer and produce final prototypes. This role is responsible for understands project requirements, leveraging available resources, and delivering high-quality prototypes on budget and on schedule.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Mockup Department workspace.
• Serve as a mentor to junior team members, fostering skill development and collaboration.
• Support rapid-turn and high-priority projects, including overtime and weekend work when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proficient with a majority of the core skills required to produce photo-quality packaging prototypes, including but not limited to:
  • transfer application
  • embossing
  • hero box assembly
  • rigid box assembly
  • samplemaker operation
  • basic structural design
  • shrink labeling
  • pouch assembly
  • label application
  • vinyl application
  • lamination
  • basic structural design
• Comprehensive understanding of all production materials and how best to use them.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to producing the highest quality prototypes in the industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal customers and stakeholders.

Education and Experience

• 2+ years of professional retail packaging Mockup experience.

Pay Range: $28 - $32 USD Hourly
