Job Description

Candidates MUST be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting. This position can work 100% remotely (within the state of WI).

Brief Project Description
This is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Division of Employment and Training and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Candidates will play an integral role on self directed work teams in support of high priority development projects.

Project work will include: application design and development, integration with 3rd party software, data conversion, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development, and Agile Scrum development methodology.

Additional Comments

• Previous work experience in government, insurance, accounting or case management is required.
• Previous work experience in online transaction processing (OLTP) web application development and batch processing required.
• Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure Cloud experience preferred.
• The successful candidate will be highly technically competent, a consistently high producer, a good communicator, and an overall team player. All candidates submitted with inconsistencies or falsifications in their credentials will be disqualified and DOA purchasing will be notified.
