Office Specialist II Online Education Location Killeen, TX : Position Title Office Specialist II Online Education FLSA Non-Exempt Full Time/Part Time Full Time Department Evaluation Campus Central Campus Location Central Campus Hourly Rate $10.63 Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thurs, 7:30-5:30; Fri, 7:30-11:30, Overtime, describe requirements - As needed. Summary of Position This job performs general clerical support for Student Services - Non-Traditional Learning. The incumbent processes and tracks ArmyIgnited, all Active Duty Military Services, Retired and Civilian evaluations. Also tracks update/correction requests. Prepares student documents for evaluation, answers student and staff questions regarding evaluations and assists with all special projects within the Student Services - Evaluations & Graduation Departments.. Minimum Required Education High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum Required Experience Four years wage earning clerical experience, or certification / successful completion of relevant trade school (30 college credits) and one year wage earning clerical experience. A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts required with application for evaluation purposes. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word, Access, and Excel;
Demonstrated data entry and word processing skills with a high degree of accuracy;
Ability to interact effectively with students and with all levels of employees;
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information;
Ability to adhere to specific procedures;
Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines;
Ability to work without extensive supervision.
