JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines; establishes high standards and measures; does work right the first time; tests new methods thoroughly; reinforces excellence as a fundamental priority.
• Clearly present information through the spoken or written word; reads and interprets complex information; listens well.
• Apply systems thinking to generate solutions; focuses on processes rather than isolated events; obtains multiple assessments of a situation and identifies trouble spots; evaluates alternative solutions.
• Manage progress toward operational effectiveness; can implement preventative measures and establish clear accountability for action; confronts problems head on and takes decisive action.
• Use sound judgment in evaluating the relative urgency of various issues; appropriately classified in terms of time sensitivity, impact, complexity, importance, etc.
• Follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors processes; concentrates on details and organizes and maintains a system of records. Have strong analytical and organizational skills
• Work independent of direct supervision and be directly responsible for getting job duties completed on time
• Preparation of financial information for tooling budget

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ Years of Experience Required in Either CNC Machine Operating or Programming
• Ability to program and tool change CNC machines (horizontal mills)
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues
• Ability to troubleshoot robots and automation
• Ability to teach and train tool changers
• Ability to manage projects and kaizen activities
• Kaizen idea creator
• Tracking cycle time and takt time
