Job: QA Tester
Reporting To: Program Manager
Location: Bangalore India
NetApp is undertaking a major transformation initiative, implementing Oracle Cloud ERP across the organization. This is an exciting new opportunity for the right candidate to perform as a Testing Coordinator within this program.
Description:
v Test and retest reported defects in timely manner.
v Report bugs and errors to development teams.
v Create defect logs to document testing phases and defects.
v Conduct release / post implementation testing.
v Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.
v Write and analyze test reports.
v Produces the Test Summary Report after exit criteria have been met.
v Attends regular status meetings with the QA and project management teams.
v Assist with driving accountability to planned dates, creating and maintaining schedules in collaboration with System Integrators, 3rd party vendors & relevant stakeholders.
v Organize & support project team meetings including setting up meeting rooms, assisting with travel logistics, preparing meeting materials, capturing meeting minutes & managing recordings
v Help administer Project TeamSite's & shared project team repositories (SharePoint, Teams, Mailboxes)
Skills & Experience:
ü Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in testing and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP, in one or more of the following: Master Data, Supply Chain, Finance; particular knowledge of Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Customer Billing, or any other Quote-to-cash functions is a plus
ü Must have experience in Testing processes and best practices (Test case creation, JIRA for test results and defect tracking, etc.) – Mandatory to have
ü Previous experience with testing and implementing cloud-based solutions or familiar with the concepts of cloud-based architecture and its implementation
ü Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
ü Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
ü Proven ability to quickly build relationships and earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders
ü Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
ü Ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity
ü Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively
ü Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs.
ü Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management tools Experience with understanding various software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum
Good working knowledge of SDLC Able to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
Qualifications
ü Bachelor’s degree preferred and comparable work experience
ü Experience with MSP, MS Teams, SharePoint
ü Knowledge of JIRA
ü Experience with Agile Methodology
