Job Summary:
This role is for a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients, administer medications, participate in treatment planning, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. A minimum of two years of experience is required, and prior travel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities: - Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Assess patients' conditions and document findings accurately.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Meditech charting.
- Participate in emergency response and critical care situations.
- Manage patient flow and assignments within the 17-bed unit, maintaining a 1:4 patient ratio.
Required Skills & Certifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience with Meditech charting.
Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Prior travel nursing experience.
Special Considerations: - 17-bed Emergency Room unit.
- 1:4 patient ratio.
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Block scheduling not guaranteed).
- COVID-19 vaccination is highly recommended but not required.
Scheduling: - 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM shift.
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
