This role is for a Registered Nurse in a Cath Lab setting, requiring a minimum of three years of experience. The RN will provide skilled nursing care in a fast-paced environment, precept new staff, and participate in on-call rotations. Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care in a Cath Lab setting.
- Precepting new Cath Lab staff.
- Administering conscious sedation.
- Managing patients with balloon pumps.
- Responding to STEMI calls.
- Utilizing GE equipment.
- Charting patient information in Mac Lab.
- Participating in on-call rotations (1 week every 3 weeks, 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM plus all day Saturday and Sunday).
- Performing EKGs.
- Completing required continuing education.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum three years of Cath Lab experience.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience with balloon pumps.
- Conscious sedation training.
- Proficiency with GE equipment.
- AHA NIHSS certification.
- Completion of 6 CEUs on stroke-related topics prior to start date.

Special Considerations:
- On-call requirements: 1 week every 3 weeks, 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM plus all day Saturday and Sunday.
- Proctored EKG exam on the first day of the contract.
- COVID-19 vaccination proof or declination required.
- The facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost during the assignment.

- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- On-call rotation: 1 week every 3 weeks, 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM plus all day Saturday and Sunday.
