The Research Scientist II is an integral part of the team, contributing to our success by supporting our contract drug discovery research.

In this role, you will: - Perform hands-on laboratory work, such as molecular cloning, protein expression, protein purification, crystallization, comjugation and analysis;
- Collaborate with internal drug discovery teams/areas, such as assay development, cell biology, mass spectrometry and microbiology;
- Keep laboratory records and generate experiment reports;
- Communicate to external collaborators or clients.
Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years experience, or Master's degree with 2-3 years experience;
- Experience in biological laboratory work;
- Experience in molecular biology and protein purification.
- Basic understanding of DNA and protein related knowledge;
- Able to learn hands-on biology laboratory techniques;
- Flexible to accomplish assigned research plan and projects;
- Able to solve basic math problems such as unit conversions, dilution of solutions, buffers preparation.
Salary : $62,000/yr.
Education, experience, location and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
