Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Elementary School | Grades 3–4

Schedule: Full-Time | February – May 20, 2026 (End of School Year)

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage for an elementary school assignment serving 3rd and 4th grade students. This temporary, full-time role begins in February 2026 and continues through the end of the school year on May 20, 2026.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of up to 55 students, delivering both direct and indirect speech and language services aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, completing evaluations, documenting student progress, and ensuring compliance with state and district requirements. Collaboration is essential—you will partner closely with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure students build the communication skills they need for academic and social success.

Requirements

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable.
  
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  
• Valid Georgia Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement.
  
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required.
